The Internet Battle and who controls Wikipedia

I lose this campaign, or engagement but it was a small hostel attack on people not use to being attacked, in all their riches and glory.  Now you shall feel threatened.

On Wikipedia I post this (Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 12:20 PM)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Protandim#Protandim_Side_Effects

Milk Thistle – The University of Maryland Medical Center study confirmed that milk thistle may react with a variety of medications, including, anti-psychotics, anti-depressants, anti-seizure medications, blood-thinning drugs, anti-cancer agents, and cholesterol-lowering drugs. If you take any of these medications, checking with your doctor before taking Milk Thistle.”[9]

Bacopa – Utilized as a treatment for epilepsy and seizures. Seizure medication is often used to treat common psychological conditions. Other anti-seizure drugs used or investigated to treat mental conditions include gabapentin (Neurontin), zonisamide (Zonegran) and topiramate (Topamax). [10]

The Reaction between Milk Thistle and Bacopa, could produce negative psychological effects such as depression. It is recommended that if major changes occur in your life, work or relationships, stop taking this mixture and consult with your doctor.

Just10 minutes later the information the links to Bacapo on the wikipedia site for possible Protandim Side Effects are removed.

The current Wikipedia page (May 13 2012 16:09) reads this. Notice how Lifevantage department of public relations ends the run on paragraph and sentence with the word “minimal”. Everything is just minimal. First and last being the most impotent thing you say in a paragraph, they have minimized things, haven’t they.

According to the manufacturer, the side effects of Protandim may include allergic responses, gastrointestinal disturbances (stomach ache, diarrhea, vomiting), headache, and rash of the hands and feet.[8]

Milk Thistle – The University of Maryland Medical Center suggests milk thistle may react with a variety of medications, including, anti-psychotics, anti-depressants, anti-seizure medications, blood-thinning drugs, anti-cancer agents, and cholesterol-lowering drugs. If you take any of these medications, checking with your doctor before taking Milk Thistle.”[9] A 2007 peer reviewed article suggests milk thistle extracts are known to be safe and well tolerated, and toxic or adverse side effects observed in the reviewed clinical trials seem to be minimal.[10]

Lifevantage public relations department, no doubt posted this sentence and paid for the research now posted on Wikipedia.

“A 2007 peer reviewed article suggests milk thistle extracts are known to be safe and well tolerated, and toxic or adverse side effects observed in the reviewed clinical trials seem to be minimal.[10]”

Here is their link. [10]http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17548793

The Link starts with this sentence.

Research and Development at Flora Inc, Bethesda, MD 20817, USA. ctamayo2@comcast.net

Abstract

Milk thistle extracts have been used as traditional herbal remedies for almost 2000 years.

The first sentence in this report, is neither verifiable through archeological evidence nor is scripturally quoted. If Milk thistle was use 2,000 years ago, it would have be applied to the hands as a moister cream, not ingested or used as a seasoning ingredient. LifeVantage calls their product a dietary supplement, but I do not think humans, caveman or neanderthals ever consumed the Milk Thistle flower, it is bitter, dry, prickly and hard to swallow. It would be comparable to eating the spiny skin of a pineapple.

Milk thistle has been use by LifeVantage as a skin care ingredient for the last 20 years. This application makes some cosmetologist sense. But, this does not mean, what you apply to your skin, can also be digested. You don’t put soap in your mouth or ask for a shot of Red Bull, vodka and hand cream.

So, just me against a milti-billion dollar corporation, attached to a massive apocalyptic focused cult church, I consent to losing this battle. Live and fight another day, some infantry would be nice but troops live on their stomach alone. My stomach, I can only fill once a day.

Google search brings up some very strange results under protandim. I did say in my first post that “protandim zombie apocalypse” typed into Google produced, a massive 520,000 results. And, all these results lead back to Lifevantage controlled PR public relations websites, with off topic information. Off topic meaning, not listing any side effects, negative information. To do this, people had to have use “protandim zombie apocalypse” as one of their 5 key words in their posts and their web masters must have  hidden this phrase into the <posts title>, <subject lines>, <meta content> and <brief description>. Hidden means, it will only show up if you “page source” and “right click”, on that option.

Well, now I am blown away, I just typed in “protandim zombie apocalypse” into Goolge, and got this, my website first, and an impressive (About 28,900,000 results (0.33 seconds)). Holy cow, seems like the internet war has heated up, since last I checked over the weekend and the stupid Mormons, with all their money and doomsday gold, just got served.

How do you like that bitches with magical underwear. Your town, my fire.

Wow, they own youtube, protandim has been featured on NBC Today Show, and Dr Oz did this big fat bull shit lie on Antioxidants. Dr Oz even calls an Antioxidant a vitamin on his glutathione special. This is bad.

Dr Oz even calls an Antioxidant a vitamin????????

I am sorry but I can’t watch any of this humbo jumpo Antioxidant, free radical stuff, let alone, sit through a Mark Hyman at TEDMED 2010. So he can promote Zombie spice.

I have to go wash my clothes in the river of filth, apparently.

New Edits…………………………

Found on May 26th all the information and research links I added to wikipedia, have been completely removed. The side effects are back to just the brief companies statement referring back to their website.

According to the manufacturer, the side effects of Protandim may include allergic responses, gastrointestinal disturbances (stomach ache, diarrhea, vomiting), headache, and rash of the hands and feet.[8]

Got this on my page………………

Edit warring

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Protandim. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users’ edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia’s policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically “entitled” to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article’s talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Cresix (talk) 18:03, 26 May 2012 (UTC)

I agree. Plum, you need to back off and discuss this on the article's talk page.    -- Brangifer (talk) 18:16, 26 May 2012 (UTC) __________________________________ I requested an editorial dispute, but I don't know what the fuck I am doing in the Wikipedia code stuff but at least I am doing something. ____________________ They are trying to have my Editor assistance/Requests removed.................... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Editor_assistance/Requests#Protandim
I suggest this section be removed since DrPlum has not discussed this matter at all. The article’s talk page is the place to deal with this matter. Instead he has edit warred. He has also failed to comply with the first rule for adding content to this noticeboard. It’s very clearly written above in the editing window: “PLEASE read this before posting here: PLEASE consider discussing the issue on the article’s talk page if not already done so.”
Brangifer (talk) 18:57, 26 May 2012 (UTC)

Cresix wants all links, even the internal in wikipedia removed. Cresix only wants the company information posted. I see no room for any discussion. Editor assistance/Requests is the only resolution that is possible.

DrPlum (talk) 22:26, 26 May 2012 (UTC)

Well your choices are to discuss on the talk page or be blocked for edit warring. SpinningSpark 00:19, 27 May 2012 (UTC)

I can also request an Editor assistance/Requests, which is why I am here. These are company employees controlling a product information DrPlum (talk) 02:23, 27 May 2012 (UTC)

Altmed.creighton.edu school of homeopathic medicine aka supplements, was requesting a password and user name on my blog page. I am considering this a hostel cyber attack. I sent an email to both judithgunter@creighton.edu medadmissions@creighton.edu  on, 9-7-12. It appears now that they hot linked an image which I used in my blog.

I got it fixed with help from forum support………Copied and pasted responses

  1. I have literally never seen that on a WordPress.com blog.

    1) change your email password NOW to something very strong. The email that’s associated with your WordPress.com blog, ie your admin email.

    2) then and only then, change the blog password.

That should lock them out. They usually get in via hacked emails. If you find anyone on the Users page that shouldn’t be in the list, delete them.

I’ve flagged this for staff attention.

  2. Go here > Users > All Users and delete any user that does not belong there.
